Scout is a full-service residential interior design studio that takes you from concept to completion.

Our work begins with listening. With more than 25 years of pastoral experience behind us, we've learned to hear what matters most to people, and we bring that same attention to your home. We learn your story, we figure out how you want a room to feel, and we translate all of it into a space that's unmistakably yours: beautiful, livable, and built for the life you're living.

Designing a home is personal, and often emotional. You're trusting someone with the place where your family actually lives, and we hold that trust with care. We're the friend who happens to know what they're doing: warm enough to laugh with you, grounded enough to steady the process, skilled enough to handle the thousand small decisions that turn a house into a home. You'll feel seen, taken care of, and genuinely accompanied.

Our aesthetic is warm minimalism: earthy, organic, and natural, with enough soul and character to keep it from ever feeling sterile. We love mixing eras, vintage and modern, raw woods and worn-in leather, the layered look of a space collected over a lifetime. We take the craft seriously and keep our sense of humor while we do it. When life goes sideways mid-project, because it will, we tell you straight away and find the way through. "No" is rarely our first answer.

These working sessions run up to 90 minutes for a fee of $350 and are an ideal way to see how we'd approach your space and whether we're right for each other, with no obligation. Expect to talk through your hopes for the space, review any inspiration you've gathered, define a scope of work, and dig into floor plans, design direction, paint, and lighting.
